BRUSSELS, BE
Brussels is the capital of Europe and DH Airlines takes you there with
style. Landing at Luxembourg International Airport, Brussels is a short
walk away in the next state. There is so much to do in Brussels it is
best to stay there for two years or so. It is famous for its modern buildings,
restaurants and european union buildings.
BIRMINGHAM, UK
Birmingham is a modern city with an industrial past. It is at the heart
of England and has great entertainment centres as well as a large business
community. Birmingham has always been a destination with DH Airlines because
so many people want to travel away from it.
CALAIS, FR
Calais is famous for the Sengate Red Cross Centre, but there is much more
to it than that. There are cheap and abandoned warehouses as well as a
port. It is great for cheap goods and a haven for asylum seekers.
PARIS, FR
Paris is the capitol of art and romance for the entire world. Its beautiful
buildings and city streets really make you want to be French and it is
all symbolised in the Eiffel Tower which is still one of Europe's tallest
structures.
POMPEI, IT
We're not too sure if there is an airport here, but we have landed in
fields in the past. There are Archaeological finds in people's gardens
in this city because it was once destroyed by a huge volcano. Only recently,
the city has been dug up and you can now walk the same streets that Romans
and fellow tourists have walked before you.
RIGA, LA
There are many reasons why Latvia joined the European Union and one of
them was the city of Riga. Itching to be a holiday destination, it is
full of museums and restaurants with typical Balkan architecture.
BERLIN, DE
The German city of Berlin is steeped in twentieth century history. You
can visit the Berlin Wall and perhaps knock some more down and you can
take pictures of things such as the Brandenburg Gate and the Egyptian
Pyramids, if you visit the painting gallery. Berlin is so much more than
just Germany's capitol city, it's a Region.
OTHER DESTINATIONS:
NEW YORK, USA
New York is home to millions of people and is built around the financial
world. There are hundreds of skyscrapers and a massive park in the middle
of them. It is full of busy people making a living.
WASHINGTON, USA
Full of American institutions and several shopping malls, the White House
is the most famous building here. It's well worth a look in the oval office,
if you can get in, and definitely worth getting the autograph of the guy
sitting at the desk and selling it on eBay when you get home.
LOS ANGELES, USA
A lively and large city, Los Angeles has all sorts to do. There are World
Famous theme parks and a film industry in a suburb called Hollywood which
produces a few worth seeing films every year.
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
We're not sure why we fly here, but we do so there better be something
worth visiting.
BAGHDAD, IRAQ
This city is where the famous Babylonian civilisation was and there are
still a few traces left around today. There is lots to do in Baghdad,
but you must watch out who is following you. The city is more famous than
ever today and everyone will have a picture in their mind of where you've
been.
NAJAF, IRAQ
For those of you who have "go to a warzone" on your list of
things to do before you're 50, Najaf is the perfect place. You land in
the city for just 5 minutes and take off having experienced enough.
